Welcome to Dark Tide, a creative reimagining of the Dragon Age timeline!
Ferelden has fallen to the darkspawn after the horde attacked the city of Denerim. The Frostback mountains bordering Orlais and Ferelden have so far kept back the Darkspawn advance. There are no longer enough Grey Wardens to protect the population, instead petty criminals are given the chance to undergo the ritual to become Grey Wardens or remain as prisoners. As usual, many do not survive the ordeal but for those who do, a chance at a different life beckons.
Such are our party of adventurers!
Guided only by their background knowledge and a Grey Warden constable, they must clear the land of encroaching Darkspawn. Firstly, the village where the ritual took place has some strange occurrences and a strong need for local, medicinal herbs from the nearby swamp…
